Hi, I am in L1 A and will complete by 7 years on Nov 2017. I also have H1B applied during 2015 and approved without change of status with the same company. My I-140 is approved.
My question is, can I move from L1 A to H1B after Nov 2016? Since I will be completing 6 years in Nov 2016 that H1B allows, will I face issues in moving from L1A to H1B after Nov 2016 - as I would like to continue in L1-A as long as possible? Or, since 6 years is over, I need to reapply for H1-B if I want to convert to H1B after Nov 2016? Please suggest/guide how this works.
