Hi
I am in process of applying for L1A Visa for my self. Now I have gone through this 4 years for another company for which I had L1A Visa. So I know all the process. However, I have never applied for L2 as I was not married that time
Now I am married to a Bangladeshi citizen for last 4 years who lives in Bangladesh. Now she would need US Visa to get to USA. My question is, when I go to apply for my L1A Visa in Canada in 2 to 3 weeks, shell I also apply for L2 at the same time though she is not with me? Her Canadian immigration is in process which will take 1 to 2 years based on Canadian processing time for that region. Both I and my wife travel a a lot in Asia for my business. She has been with me many time in India, Thailand, Malaysia etc. But never in western countries.
I myself will not stay in USA as I have my kids in Canada (from previous marriages). I travel every 2 month to Bangladesh to see my wife. Now issue is I am confused if I should apply for her L2 at the same time as mine or get mine first and then apply for her?
One might ask why she lives in Bangladesh...not in Canada yet well she has a small acting career, potential to be a big star (potential) so we agree that she will stay there and try to establish her career in film industry and get some experience before migration beside I a visit her every 2 months
Any tips/suggestion would be highly appreciate it. I do understand getting US Visa even after L2 is not guaranteed but that is another issue
