L1-A: Physical Office Needed Outside US?

Hello, here is my situation - kindly advice

- I live in India & I have got offer to join as Director / Manager of Digital Marketing to a company in US
- The company does not have any branch or physical office in India
- I will be on the US company payroll
- I will manage virtual staff from India

My Questions

- To qualify for L1-A do they need to have a registered physical office in India?
- Do they need to have other physical employees in India other than me?

L1-a
