L1 blanket Visa expiry date and PED is different.

Recently I got my L1 Blanket approved. But in the Visa L1 expiry date is Dec 2018 same as I197S stamp but PED expiry date is sep 2016.
if i am not wrong my valid stay in US will be decided by I94 , which will be given at port of entry. Wanted to know whether officer at port of entry will give I-94 based on Visa expiry date which is Dec 2018 same as i197S form OR he/she will give i-94 valid only till PED expiry data ie. Sep 2016 ??

Petition, Visa, and I-94 are granted by three different bodies, hence this discrepancy. In your own interest it is advisable to keep them in sync. Normally Blanket petitions have an Indefinite expiry but if yours is expiring Sep 2016 then I would suggest you get an extended I797 in order to continue working beyond 2016.

Thanks for reply. Actually My Visa and I-197S both has expire date as Dec 2018 but PED expire date is Sep,2016. so was confused whether I will get I-94 till Dec, 2018 or Sep, 2016.
