Hello,
I'm planning to accompany my wife on a L-2 visa, which I got stamped recently. There are some questions that I have regarding EAD filing process:
1. I have to travel back to my country during the EAD filing process. Is this okay? My I-94 will be taken back on exiting the US - would this cause any delays/issues to my EAD application?
2. I'm a bit confused regarding the fee as well. As of today, the EAD application fee is $380, and for biometrics is $85. However, in most of the forums, people say that a check for $380 needs to be sent along the the EAD application. My biometrics were taken during my L-2 visa filing process. Do I have to pay the extra $85 towards biometrics for my EAD application?
