I am currently on H1B for past 3.8 years and recently due to my promotion i am no longer eligible for location change for new project in which I need to work in managerial capacity. This eligibility is company internal policy. In this case, i am planning to go for COS from H1B to L1A. I want to know what are the chances of approvals and denial in this COS from H1B to L1A.
Am I eligible for this conversion or please let me know what all eligibility criteria are there for this position.
My Details:
1. I am in H1B status for past 3.8 year.
2. I am with current employer for past 6+ years.
3. I have worked for the co. in india for more than 2 years.
4. I have been recently promoted.
5. I have 10+ years of total exp.
6. I am supposed to work in managerial position in my new assignment post this COS.
Please advise what are the chances of approval and do i meed the eligibility criteria.
