Hi All,
I have few questions regarding my stay in USA on L1B VISA.
I am having L1B VISA. Below are VISA details:
1. First L1B VISA stamping period is from 10 April 2012 to 14 Jan 2015.
2. Second L1B VISA stamping period is from 7th June 2015 to 6th June 2017.
From the first L1B VISA, i entered in US on 26th May 2012 and stayed in US till 9th Jan 2015. Moved back home country and then i re-applied for L1B VISA. Now i will be entering in USA on 31st Jan 2016 on my 2nd L1B VISA stamping.
Please find my below questions:
1. My company do not belive in applying Greencard, thus i would like to utllize my stay in US to maximum duration. So i would like to know is that, is my 5 yrs of period on L1B VISA before applying GC, will be over on the end on 6th June 2017?
2. Is max 5 yrs period is for L1B VISA or is it Immigration rule?
3. Is my 5 yrs period will get reset as i was out of country for more than one year duration i.e from 10th Jan 2015 to 30th Jan 2016?
4. If 5 yrs period is reset, then can i apply for 3 yrs of L1B VISA again after 7th June 2017?
5. If 5 yrs period is not reset, then without applying GC, what should i have to do to finish my 5 years stay considering that new I94 will be till 7th june 2017?
