Utilizing old L1A if you rejoin the company

Hi All,

My employer filed L1A Blanket visa for me (Visa start month is November 2015 - for 3 years). Now due to some personal reasons, I might have to leave the organization for 10-11 months. My query is if I "resign" and rejoin back after 10 months, Can my employer use my current visa and send me US through that or I will have to file for a new visa then.

In case my old visa can be utilized, do I need to stay at offshore again for a year after rejoining or I can be sent instantly to US as well.

Please help!!

If you resign and join within 3 Years the same visa could be re used.
