  • L1 Visa under administrative processing

I attended the visa interview with the Chennai india consulate on 20/1/2015 . Interview went well and interviewer said everything was fine on my side
But he said there was some problem in viewing my petition online, so he gave me a 221(g) sheet with a case number.
It says “ Your application requires additional administrative processing before a final decision can be made.”

He said it was a minor issue on their side and I need not come back for any further processes. And he mentioned it should be rectified in a day.
He also kept my Passport and all copies of petition documents.

But till today I see that it still says Its under administrative processing
Is there anything I can do?
what is the average number of days taken to fix something like this?
Website says 60days but the consular said it was a minor glitch that just required half a day?
How can I follow up on this?

A week is too early to press the panic button. Wait for 15 days.

This is my opinion not legal advice.
