Duration of stay in the US while waiting for Change of Status
Need help on how long I can be in the states while waiting for my change of status. I entered into US on H1, and quit the job with the H1 employer on November 13th 2015. However I filed my H1 to L2 on October 27th 2015 through my husband's Org. My original H1 had an expiry date of 31st December 2015. Its been 3 months since I filed COS and still pending with USCIS. In this case how long I can stay in the US while the case is pending with USCIS.
