Hi,
I am on L1-B for the past 3 years and I recently extended my L1-B visa by 2 years (till March 17).
My company started thinking on putting me on a GC process, however it might take them 1 year to start the process intenal(bureaucracy).
With the company bureaucracy I am afraid I will find myself with no permit to stay in the US.
How many months before my L1-B VISA ends the company should start my GC process in order to assure that I will be able to stay in the US all the time?
