Total time available on H1 B

Hi all,

I have two questions on my H1 B. Hopefully will get some answers.

1. H1 B approved in 2008. Never used. Came to US on L1 in 2010 stayed for 18 months, went back and stayed 18 months in India. Came back to US on fresh L1 B in 2013 and stayed for 2 years and went back. Transferred the 2008 H1b to a new employer.
How much time will I get on my transferred H1 B now.
2. Back back to India on June 2015. If i apply for a fresh H1 B in 2016 and travel back to US after OCtober, will i get whole 6 years.

Dirty Math !!

You can work for 6 years on H/L visa. Once you complete 6 years (in total) you'll have to stay in your home country for an year.

After you stayed in India for 12 whole months, you can work again in USA for next 6 years.
