  • L1-B on I-94

    Hello Friends,

Currently, I am on Blanket L1-B visa and its going to be expired in 25th March 2016 and my i-94 still valid till 26th Nov 2018. My company is going for L-1 B extention while i am in US. Is it possible to stay in US even after my case rejected with USICS as i have a valid I-94 or need to leave the US as soon as i hear from USICS about the rjection.

    Any suggestion much appreciated !

        Yes, you can

Visa is just an permit to fly to USA after basic verification in your home country.
I94 is the legal permit for you to stay in USA on the current visit.

Hence, as long you have valid I94 & you do not move out of USA & you do not change your job - you can stay there legally.

You'll need a new visa, once you go out of USA & come back.

        - Not a legal advice, just MY thought.
