  • Missed Travel Information on DS 160

    Hello there,

I have recently submitted my DS160 form for L1A visa. After submission I realised that in the 'foreign travel in the last 5 years' section I have missed mentioning one of my foreign trips in 2012, the rest I have filled in. My question is whether this is a big miss and could cause problems in my visa approval and hence I should submit a new DS160 ?
In case I have to submit a new one, is there any way any way in which the new form can source information from my already submitted one ... I clearly cannot edit/change anything in the submitted form ... I tried.

Will be great if some one could help me out .

    Thanks !

You can't make any changes once you submit DS-160 form.

Did you schedule appointment? If not then you can resubmit the form. Otherwise you can go for the interview and if visa officer ask you can clarify.
This is not a legal advice. Use at your own risk.

Call the local consulate & let them know the situation - they should be able to help you.

Hope the country you visited isn't Iraq or Afghanistan, otherwise it may be treated as you were trying to hide the facts. It should not be a big problem, if the country you visited is among one of their friend country.

      - Not a legal advice, only my thought.

        Hi,

My Spouse is applying for L2 while I am going on L1. Spouse has missed to include B.Tech education degree information in DS 160 while included MBA information (higher education) in DS 160. Wanted to check if there is going to be any issues in Visa interview.

And is there any possibility of correcting the mistake, we have our VAC appointment in 2 days.
