Hi guys,
I got my L1B Blanket visa approved and stamped in Jan'16. However, due to some changes at client end my travel got delayed and now there's a possibility that my travel location can get changed while all other details related to my roles and responsibilities, as mentioned in my petition remain same as before.
Can you please let me know whether any location restriction is applicable for my stamped L1B Blanket visa or do I need to file an amendment if there's a location change. If an amendment is required,how much time does it take for the amendment and can there be denials/ rejections again at this stage too, given that my visa is already stamped.
As far as I know, as L1 Visa indicates an intra-company transfer, location restrictions don't apply for L visa( hence the visa holder should be free to work from any location within USA) ,unlike in H1 where LCA determines the work location.
Please confirm the same.
