Change position while in L1A

Hi,

I'm currently holding an L1A visa. My position might not be extended but I still want to stay in the US. Can I change position / team, within the same company, without changing visa? If it is possible, are there any restrictions on the new position? For example, can it be a non-managerial position?

You can change your client/project, but you cannot change your employer (petitioner who filed for your L1 visa).
