L1 A Visa interview with kids

Hi,
I have appointment on 5th April in Chennai consulate. I have few questions regarding taking my kids for the interview.

1. Will my US born baby be allowed inside (since no VISA needed for him)?
2. Is there any advantage / disadvantage of taking him?

I am asking this question because lots of people who have shared their experiences said that taking kids has advantage.

1. Yes, assuming he/she is below 12 years
2. No advantage or disadvantage of it
