  • MUST READ for L2 Dependent Visa folks

VO Question: Is your Husband related (Bro-in Law - Maternal Uncle's son? or cousin) to you before marriage?
Answer: No (even if he is, to avoid rejection)

You could say via marriage bureau or via reference.

It seems as per US Law people cannot marry their immediate cousins (Bro-in-Law, or cousins)

Heard of one rejection. I may be wrong. Thought to share.

Yes, it really happened, because some folks married to their own cousin to help them get GC or citizenship.

No offense please, but this may be a real situation for some religion where this type of relation is allowed & USA treats this as visa beneficiary.

On the other hand, L2 applicant may answer that they were classmates & they had love marriage.
