have valid visa and I 94 but petition expired on 1st march 2016

Hi

I have valid L2 visa and I94 till 2018 but my spouse L1 petition expired on 1st march but he has valid visa and I 94 till 2018.

His L1 petition extension is in process 2 weeks back its filled and came to know that it will take 4 to 6 months.

Due to some personal emergency i need to travel to india in next 2 weeks and will be back after one month.

My question is can i re etner into US with valid L2 and I94 and my spouse I797 is also valid till 2018 without approved petition?
