we have valid I797, I94 and valid visa. my L1 petition expired on 1st march 2016

can i apply my spouse EAD when my L1 petitions extension process is in progress.

I have applied for EAD for my spouse and today we got EAD approval. I dont think so I129s extension will cause an issue to EAD.
