Applying for L1 while H1B application is filed

Hi,
I am working in company A. Company B has filed my H1 application couple of days back, now company A wants to file my L1, if I agree to their terms tomorrow itself.

I am not in US currently and have valid H4 visa.

My question is can company A file my L1 now? If yes how does it affect my H1 ? Do they need to know about the other applications.

Can I travel on H4 now ?

One can have multiple non-immigrant visas & application at any time. So you should be fine.

Since H4 is dependent visa, please ensure that your spouse (primary H1 holder) is already there in USA or travelling along with you - means he/she is maintaining valid H1 status.
