  • Relevance of current duties field in DS-160

    Hi,
I am to appear shortly for my visa interview. I filled up the DS-160 some time back and in a hurry. Now that I reviewed it, I felt I did not do justice to current duties field under current work experience. I was quite random and careless and did not describe my duties/responsibilities well. Will this affect me negatively in the interview?
Does the VO cross-check whatever specialization/duties mentioned in interview against the DS-160 or do they verify it against I-129s form?
Should the DS-160 and I-129s be completely in synch w.r.t to duties in the USA .
Also was I even supposed to mention my supposed duties in USA in DS-160 or should it have only been related to my current duties in home country?
Please help as I am very stressed about this and worries that I have reduced my chances even before appearing for the interview.

Its random. Duties may not be matching word by word in DS-160 & I-129.

As long as any major function is not missing, you should be good.

In DS160 form it is your current duties.

Forget about what you've mentioned in I-129 & DS-160. Just be confident during your interview.
