L2 Dependents extension and Visa Stamping

Hello ,
I have a L1AB visa which expired in February this year and an I-94 which is valid till May 2018 , but visa and I-94 expired for my dependents (spouse and kid) in February.Based on my I-94 my company filed an extension for my dependents which has been approved by USCIS.

They received an I-797C document stating that their case has been approved with I-94 extended till May'2018.

I wanted to know if it is possible for my spouse and child to travel to India and come back after getting a fresh visa stamping based on my I-94 and their approved I-797C.
