Filling of L1B extension just couple of days before expiry date

Does it increase the chance of rejection on L1B extension? if we file L1B extension just couple of days before expiry date mentioned in I-94. I concerns that the event of filing extension just before expiry date indicates that A person deliberately wants to extend his stay period in USA. Does this case impact to L1B extension approval?
