I-94 expiring soon and I-485 is in pending status

Hi,

I am on L1A visa. My I-140 and I-485 are in progress status. My Son's I-94 is expiring in few days. We have Advance Parole documents.

Please provide your feedback for below options for him.

1. Leave US and come back once GC is approved.
2. Stay in US on Parole after I-94 expired and need to wait for GC process to complete.
3. Can he go for I-94 extension ?


I am not sure what to do here.
