Hello all,
I'm new to this forum. I've been receiving 2nd hand information regarding this issue and I would rather speak to an expert and inform myself instead of listening to the company who are supposedly relaying information from a lawyer.
We are in the US at the moment, have been here since February on an E2. Now the employer status has changed (has been aquired by a private equity firm in another country). We have been told we need to travel back to our country of origin to reapply. I saw this on another forum and it seems a more simple process. Can we do it whilst still in the US? Who needs to file the change of status? The individual or the company?
Thanking all in advance.
