    I 824

    I have an approved petition and the I 797 states that if I choose a different consulate other than mentioned in the 797, then I need to raise I 824. now I have a scenario where I need to go and appear with a different consulate.

    I am confused , some are saying I 824 are optional, some saying it's mandate form.

    Please share your expert comments on this .
