I had been on H1B for 5 years and 3 months in different time periods between 2005 and 2015. Last time, I exited USA on 18th July 2015. right now, my employer is applying L1-A Blanket petition and I have my VISA interview on 5th July 2016. since I may not have completed 1 year cool of period when I go for VISA stamping, I may get VISA duration for 1 Year and 9 months only? (Since L1A maximum stay period is 7 years). Is this correct? or Is there a possibility that I might get fresh 3 years on L1A?
