Long delay in MRV fee receipt activation

    Oh quick update, my receipts are processed and available to use now. Turns out that was the problem. Hope it gets resolved for others too.

      mrjaspsing@ - when did you made the payment and when you got the response?
      I made payment on Dec 30th 2021, raised complaint and got escalcated on Jan5th, but still no response.

          @kasimmohdh - My case is still not resolved, escalated on Jan 5th, but still no response and ETA. What you did to get it resolved, please share your experiences.

            shmyusuf I received an email from Bank of America stating my payment is on hold and needs to be verified, BOFA had asked my Passport/DL copy and I responded back with Passport, DL, Aadhar and voter id just to make sure there is no back and forth emails and to get the case resolved. MRV got activated next day after I send the documents.

              kasimmohdh@ - My case is opened on Jan 4th and escalated on the very next day.
              I've provided the NEFT transaction screenshot, passport copies and all details related to transaction, but no response and ETA.
              Should i wait for the response or can i go ahead pay directly in Axis Bank to get the receipt. Please advice.

                shmyusuf sorry for the delay, Hope you got your MRV activated by now. When I inquired about repaying through Axis, the service desk support person told me not to do so to avoid duplicate MRV receipt on the same petition and that would further delay fixing, so it's better to avoid another deposit for the same petition.

                  Hi all. I have same issue, paid visa fee using NEFT through ICICI bank on 01/13. I have not received MRV receipt numbers yet. I raised a case, submitted bank transaction details and I can see it was escalated. I called customer service and they told they don't have an ETA for escalated cases. I have to travel to India soon for an event. Can anyone please let me know what can I do to get MRV receipt numbers.

                    shmyusuf Did you get closure on this? I am in a similar situation. Its been over a month since i paid via NEFT. The receiving bank then reached out last week and asked for passport/dl etc and told me the payment is on hold till i send them those details. I sent them all relevant info and it's been a week, still no updates.

                    I am very close to switching to plan B and make a second payment directly via Axis Bank. Let me know if you have any updates you can share.

                    Some extra context if it helps to know: I am a US citizen and I am filing a B2 visa renewal on behalf of my mom. My only role in this process is to make a payment using my Indian bank account. It doesn't make sense they would need my passport information just to release the payment

                            sagaron28 i have paid my fee on march 17, ticket got escalated on march 21 and no response till now. Are you also stuck or is your receipt activated ?

                              I'm facing similar issue and my ticket got escalated on April 29th and no response till now. I'm okay to repay the fee, will that be okay? Can I get new MRV receipt and proceed with that?

                                Any update? My NEFT payment made 29-04 has not yet activated the receipt. Please update so that others can be benefitted.
