Long delay in MRV fee receipt activation

I'm facing similar issue and my ticket got escalated on April 29th and no response till now. I'm okay to repay the fee, will that be okay? Can I get new MRV receipt and proceed with that?

Update us, if you get your receipt published. Have you escalated to support helpline? or did you re-pay to get new receipt?

shmyusuf Did you get closure on this? I am in a similar situation. Its been over a month since i paid via NEFT. The receiving bank then reached out last week and asked for passport/dl etc and told me the payment is on hold till i send them those details. I sent them all relevant info and it's been a week, still no updates.

I am very close to switching to plan B and make a second payment directly via Axis Bank. Let me know if you have any updates you can share.

Some extra context if it helps to know: I am a US citizen and I am filing a B2 visa renewal on behalf of my mom. My only role in this process is to make a payment using my Indian bank account. It doesn't make sense they would need my passport information just to release the payment

It was on HOLD by Bank of America. They wanted proof in form of Passport and DL. Provided and issue released

I am also in same situation, i paid fee on 21st may but still my visa fee is not activated. My issue escalated to embassy on 27th May but still no reply from them.

My fee receipt got activated today.
just for info purpose and based on my experience. fee receipts activation issue is taking 2-4 weeks time to resolve the issue.
In my case it took 4 weeks to fee receipts get activated.

Hi - I made the US Visa fee on Jan 25 around 10pm Indian time but the same has not been updated yet. It is 31st Jan today. I checked with my bank and even Bank of America and they confirmed the payment has been credited in the US visa account. Has anyone faced this situation? I raised this to the US travel docs but they are just asking more time. Please help

Same happened with me did the NEFT transaction on 2/14 and MRV number did not got activated till one week. I had followed up with the BOFA India Chennai branch and they had asked documents and resolved it in 2-3 days. I was able to book the appointment on 2/24. I would suggest to do choose cash transaction fee option or if NEFT transaction got stuck first follow up with Bank.
