L1 Visa Interview @ Chennai Consulate Scheduled on Holiday - 5th September 16

Friends,

My L1 visa interview got scheduled on 5th Sept 16 at Chennai US Consulate. However, that is Labor day Holiday in US and Chennai Consulate website too shows that as holiday, http://chennai.usconsulate.gov/holidays2.html
It is not clear how consulate allowed me to schedule on this day, also this is the only day available for L1Visa when I login their website -- https://cgifederal.secure.force.com

Can some one please clarify how is it possible ? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for quick reply.
The problem I am facing now is, there is no other date available (including 5th Sept) in the Reschedule interview page. I am wondering how all of the L1 Blanket Visa appointments are full and not available even a single appointment. Any one aware of this kind of situation ? or am I missing some thing ?

I am still getting this error "There are currently no appointments available. Please press the Back button and choose a new OFC appointment Date."
