I am the main applicant of L1 visa; and mine was approved right away always.
My I-129s was approved for 3 years, but the visa was granted for 2 years. This year we used same approved I129S to issue new visa into new Australia passport(old visa was issued on China passport). Mine was approved immediately, while my wife faced same 221g again. Details as below:
2014
VO asked my wife's highest degree, and my wife answered with master in materials engineering.
VO then issued 221g requesting for resume. AP started and ended in 2months.
2016
VO asked same question and issued 221g again requesting for detailed resume.
detailed resume was provided on the same day and now AP started.
Nationality: Australian now
Wife only learned material but never used in any work- same clarified in resume.
Actually she has been housewife since 2008.
My question:
- Will she face same check every time?
- will the same process take 2 months?
- Autralian can enter USA without visa. Can she get passport back and enter US now?
