DS160 L1B Individual - Employer Name

Hi,

In my I129, Name of the employer/organization is mentioned as XYZ and petition is approved. Now this XYZ is acquired by PNR firm and the name of company is PNR.

Now immi team says that company name should be mentioned as PNR only alongwith the new address in DS160..

Is it correct or safe or will it create any prob during VI.

I believe your organization needs to file L1 amendment in order to get the new company verifies by USCIS for L1 eligibility.

My immi team says that go ahead with New Name only in DS160 and rest all matters they would take care off. Looks like they would do that amendment part or so..
