  • Carrying "non-applicant child" for the visa interview

I and my wife have our PAI for L1A visa on 1-Aug.

We have a 4 year old son and he is a citizen of the US.
So, he does not need a visa and he is not part of the appointment.

We might have to take him to the Consulate for visa and biometrics if we do not get any option for baby sitting in Chennai.

Please let me know the procedure to take him with us.
I just want to be sure of things and do not want to add up to the tension on the interview day.

    Appreciate your help on this.

Yes. Most likely your son can come with you to attend visa interview but please check with US Consulate also.

    Please read very similar thread,

      Visa for my daughter

Hello Everyone, need an important suggestion. I applied for a US visa with my wife we got it in October this year. I have a 2 year daughter too whom I did not include in my visa application as I though that later on once we get the visa I can use the drop box facility. Now when I applied for my daughters visa they gave us a letter for the interview and they want us both to go back to embassy with our original passports. I am not sure what's gonna happen. Please help
