L2 visa, can I apply for jobs before receiving EAD

I'm shortly going to receive my EAD, do I need to wait to receive it before applying for jobs? Or can i start applying in the weeks before receiving it?

You can search, but can't join.

You can apply and interview as well. Only you need to have an EAD before your join date

You can search for job meanwhile but onlycan only join after you receive your EAD.
