How to change DS160 after biometrics before interview ?
I have the following dilemma:
Here is my history:
2004 Applied for B1/B2 rejected
2004 Again applied and in 2nd interview it was approved for 10 years
2014 Renewed B/B2 for 10 years
Between 2004 to 2014 i have traveled to US more than 50 times.
2015: did a change of status from B1/B2 to L1 while in US, it was approved.
2016: I am in India now and need to get my L1 stamping done.
While filling my DS160, i totally forgot to mention about my 1 rejection of B1/B2 in 2004.
My interview is in 3 days and I just realized this after finishing my Bio-Metrics appointment and immediately contacted
ustraveldocs.com support asking them how to change my DS160, they say its not possible now and I should communicate this
verbally to the VO during my interview at my own discretion!!
The 2nd option is to cancel the existing appointment and take a new appointment and fill out new DS160, but the problem with
this option is my tickets are already booked, my kids school starts from Aug 24th and If i cancel my current appointment for Aug3rd
there is not guarantee when I might get my next appointment as all embassies are currently scheduling appointments for October!
Please advice what is the best strategy for me at this point ?
