Both me and my wife moving with our employers - 2 L1s or L1 and L2?

Hello,

My wife and I are making arrangements to move to the US. Both of us work for large corporations and have an opportunity to move there with an L-1 visa. Should we:

a) Have both of our companies apply separately for L-1s

b) Have one company apply for L-1 and L-2 for both of us.

In case of option A, do we need to include each other on our L-1 applications? What about our child? Is there any concern that USCIS or the embassy might pose problems if we go with option A?

I would advise getting individual L1 for each of you. As for child, they can be L2 for either you or spouse, does not matter.
