Is the L1 Visa valid after my employers gets acquired by another company?

Hi,

My employer (ABC) got acquired by another company (XYZ) last year.
Before acquisition L1A visa stamping was done in the name of ABC last year (2015).
Because of the acquisition my travel was delayed.

Now XYZ is planning to send me to the US for an important/urgent work assignment.
1) Can I travel immediately with ABC visa itself and get the visa transfer done later?
2) Or, is the Visa transfer compulsory before I travel?

If your company got acquired your same visa will be applicable that was issued for the previous company your worked for. This is my personal opinion

Yes you can, i suggest talking to your HR/Immigration team once. You should also carry the letter which all employees must have received after acquisition.
