Is L1B Visa transferable ?

Hello Guys,

I am holding L1B visa for 3 next years from my current company and petition is filled till next year. I wanted to check if I want to join some other company is there any way to transfer my visa and switch the company. What EAD means and can I file it on L1B Visa and will it help me in getting job switched ?

No L1 is not transferable to another employer. Your spouse who can file L1 visa, is eligible for EAD (Work Authorization) , but you are not. In order for you to get EAD of your own, Green Card has to be filed and priority date has to be current.
