I have my L1-A petition (I-797) approved and is expiring sometime in May 2017. Meanwhile, I have to travel outside US for personal and business purpose. Going outside US is fine but I need to get the stamping done before I can enter US. There are few options - I go to Canada, Mexico or my home country India. I was going through all the posts associated but wanted to know if US consulate in Canada wants the applicant to stay at least for a month or so in Canada. What are the other conditions to get visa stamped in Canada? Any additional information on pros and cons will be helpful. Thanks.
