I currently have an active L2 EAD which is set to expire on the date my wife's original L1B visa was set to expire (March 2016), but my I-94 is stamped until 2019.
My wife upgraded to an L1A visa which is now set to expire on 2018, while I retained my old L2 visa (which referred to the L1B visa). Can I apply for an EAD renewal without having my L2 visa updated to refer to the new L1A visa?
I will send both pages to USCIS (L1A and L1B visas) as part of the requirement but the WAC# on my visa still refers to her L1B. But I'm not sure if it will be sufficient for them to extend my EAD.
Thanks.
