  • B1 to L1-B

    Hi,

I have two valid U.S. visa stamps - B1 and an L1-B. Question - Will I be able to enter the U.S. on the B1 Visa and two weeks later change my status to L1? Is there a specific office that I need to visit to have my visa status changed? Any help on this would be much appreciated.

    Thanks!

If at the Port Of Entry they do not mark your entry as No EOS/COS then your employer can file a COS from B1 to L1.

This is my opinion not legal advice.
