L2 visa - Is US pay stub mandatory ?

I am curently on L1 B individual visa , but getting indian Sal + Perdium (USD).
if i have to apply for my wife and sons L2 is it mandatory to show US pay stubs? or can i show the Indian sal + per dium details.

You can show India pay stubs if asked for.
