Hi Experts,
I had a query on applying for L1A while I am in the US on H1B visa. Here are the details :
1. In 2008 got a L1A which was valid till 2011. I traveled to US on this L1A for 3 months. I was a Team Leader in 2008
2. I was promoted to Deputy Manager in 2010. In 2012 applied for L1A and it got rejected
3. In 2013 got my H1B and traveled to US. I am in US since then
4. My employer is planning to apply for a GC in May 2017
5. They are also planning to apply for L1A as my role is to handle 3 different projects and around 18-20 onshore and offshore resources report to me
6. I am still at Deputy Manager level
Questions :
1. As my L1A was rejected in 2012, does it increases the risk of rejection now ?
2. Should I apply for the L1A before starting the GC process or should I apply for it after initiating the GC ?
