Hello all ,
My current company will be starting my L1 visa to US very soon as they are expecting me to start work from there by Jan 2017.
Now I have few questions and I would need some experienced expert advice -
1. My current passport is only valid till Aug 2017.Would this be a challenge as far as my visa processing is concerned ? Would I be getting visa validity till Aug 2017 only or these are not related and the L1 visa will be valid for 3 years initially or whatever period it remains initially valid before I come for re-stamping.
2. I was also thinking to renew my passport before I fly.My current passport does not have my updated address and my spouse name which I plan to get done on my new passport. As these details would change/update on new passport , will this be a problem ?
3. How soon I can start with dependent L2 visa processing of my spouse . Shall I wait for renewal of my passport ? I have our registered marriage certificate.
