It was exactly a week ago, I breathed deep and was heavily relieved for a first time in all these months of excruciating and tedious visa (L1B) process when the visa officer during my interview (New Delhi embassy) said that my visa had been approved and I would receive my passport back over the next four-five days. But my excitement was short-lived, I suppose now.
It's been a week/three business days since my status on CEAC (status unchanged since 10 November when I appeared for the interview) shows the generic message that my application is under necessary administrative process...and this may take 60 days...if approved I will get my passport in two business days...
Is there a reason to panic now? The VO had said 'four-five day' - does this mean four-five working days? or four-five calendar days?
It's been quite stressful situation. I am sure many of you folks can related it to yourself. I wrote this morning to support@ustraveldocs.com, but the reply was not really helpful and seemed to be very general one - they replied, "your visa application is under processing at the embassy. In you havent received intimation in more than ten calendar days, then you may contact our help desk. hence, we request you to kindly wait."
Any suggestion on what I should do (of course, other than waiting (lol), as suggested in the email by UStraveldoc) and what my situation indicates? Does it mean my visa face any chance of being rejected or severely delayed despite the VO said it was approved and did not issue any receipt (221G or something)? I have read on this forum people talking that they received their approved visas within barely a few days, but in my case it's already seven days gone. Request some opinion from experienced members.
Cheers.
