  • Can green card be applied for person having L1A Blanket visa

I'm having L1A Blanket VISA and working in US for last 6 months. am I eligible for green card under EB-1.
I know for L1A Individuals, it is applicable and GC is processed in one year, but not sure about L1A Blanket.

    Can someone suggest ?

    Thanks,
    Jai

must be aware these chats will be monitored though having said that ideally your employer should decide that if you are meeting the criteria. It doesnt depend on visa 100% but the role you are playing. these days its really tough since it has been misutilised heavily.

    Cheers,
    Jason

Yes you can if you are eligible. L1 is a non immigrant visa, and EB1 is an immigrant visa. Both can be applied independently, one need not even be in US for getting EB1 filed. But as Jason mentioned, have your case evaluated by your internal immigration team as to whether you are eligible or not.

This is my opinion not legal advice
