L2 Visa Ready to Pickup , L1 Visa Admin Processing.
Hello ,
I & my wife attended our L1/L2 Stamping interview on Oct 24th, 2016. I received a 221g(yellow) form to submit documents. I submitted them on Nov 7th, 2016 and I received an email from Consulate to submit the passports on Nov 15th, 2016.
We submitted both out passports on Nov 16th and my wife's VISA is issued on Nov 18th. My VISA status still says administrative processing. It has been a week since passport submission but no update. I have a few questions.
1) How can they issue a dependant visa without issuing the primary VISA ? (This is her first L2 stamping).
2) How long does it usually take after the passport submission ?
