    Duration outside US on L1b

    My l1b blanket visa was approved from june 15 to june 17. I came 9 months later I.e april 15. I 94 n l1b visa are both valid till june 17.
    Question is, what happens to the 9 months which I spent outside US on my 3 year visa.
    Is the process same as extension to get these 9 months?
