Dropbox confusion

Hi - Can somebody clarify please. I qualify all criteria for L1A visa extension through drop box, except that my first L1 was under blanket and now my extension has been filed and petition approved under individual. As per my company I do not qualify because of this reason and will have to go for Biometrics and visa interview, but internet has different view points.

Convince your employer to go for Dropbox option, if consulate feels the necessity of interview, they would inform.

could you please share your experience if you actually went for dropbox submission in delhi? I am in the same boat, my current l1a is under blanket and renewal under l1a individual, i am not sure if i qualify for dropbox submission.
